Impact Child Behavioral Services Student Admission Policy

At Impact, we proudly serve students on the Autism Spectrum and those with Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities (I/DD). Our mission is to provide a supportive and structured environment tailored to meet the needs of each child.

While we would love to accept students of all abilities, our current capacity and staffing model require us to set specific boundaries for safety and effectiveness. At this time, we are unable to enroll students who consistently demonstrate the following behaviors:

   •    Spitting

   •    Eloping (running away from staff or safe environments)

   •    Aggressive physical behaviors associated with severe Oppositional Defiant Disorder (e.g., kicking, hitting, fighting)

   •    Students assessed at Level 3 or higher under ASD classifications

Please note:

   •    We reserve the right to unenroll any student whose behaviors are deemed unsafe or extreme, as determined by our clinical team.

   •    Each student will be evaluated and observed on a case-by-case basis to determine the appropriateness of placement.

We welcome collaboration with outside therapists and specialists, who are permitted to provide in-school support to assist with learning and behavioral goals.

Our goal is to create a safe, nurturing, and effective learning environment for every child we serve.
