Meet Our Founder
Hello, I'm Tanisha M. DaCosta, MBA, Founder & CEO of Impact Child Behavioral Services, Kingdom Kids Empowerment Academy (KKEA), and HEAL Community Leadership Institute (HEAL CLI).
For more than 20 years, I have dedicated my career to serving children and families through education, behavioral health, and community leadership. My experience includes serving as a former child care center owner, former classroom educator, educational leader, behavioral health professional, special education advocate, and family advocate.
In addition to earning my Master of Business Administration (MBA), I hold certifications in Trauma-Informed Care and as a Behavioral Health Technician (BHT). I am currently pursuing a Doctor of Education (Ed.D.) to further expand my expertise in educational leadership and child development.
I developed the AB-Ed™ Model and AB- Pre Ed to bridge the gap between Applied Behavior Analysis (ABA) and Education, ensuring children receive the behavioral, academic, social, and life skills support they need to thrive at home, in school, and in their communities.
As a mother of five, educator, entrepreneur, and advocate, my mission is simple: to ensure families never have to choose between behavioral support and educational success.
Compassion Backed by Experience. Empowerment Delivered Personally.
